About Digital Legacy Kit

Why it exists

In many families, one person holds all the digital keys: the email login, the bank app, the photo library, the phone passcode. When that person gets sick or dies, everyone else loses time, photos and sometimes money trying to piece it back together.

Digital Legacy Kit helps families plan before that happens, with calm, practical steps that adult children and their parents can work through together.

How we write our guides

Our guides are practical and calm. We check facts against official sources such as Apple, Google, the FTC and the CFPB, link to those sources in each guide, and show a “Last reviewed” date so you know how current it is.
